Grief & Loss

Grief & Loss

Grief doesn’t only follow death. It can arise after a divorce, a diagnosis, the end of a friendship, a change in health or ability, or the loss of a dream for the future.

Sometimes what we’re grieving is less visible a shift in identity, the passage of time, or the life we thought we would live.

These losses can feel just as deep and disorienting. You may feel sadness, anger, confusion, guilt, or even a quiet numbness.

Sometimes there are no words for what you’re going through. You might feel pulled between wanting to honour what was and trying to find a way to move forward even when you’re not sure how.

In our sessions, we create space for all that shows up: the pain, the silence, the love, the regret.

We explore how to carry your grief with tenderness, rather than fighting it or being overwhelmed by it.

You don’t have to “let go” or “move on.” Instead, we look at how to bring what was meaningful with you, while gently beginning to build a life around what remains.

Grief isn’t a problem to be fixed. it’s a natural response to loss. And healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means allowing the sorrow to have its place, while slowly reconnecting with what still gives your life shape, love, and meaning.
